Kate Carnie

A fullrigged wooden clipper ship built in 1855 by Robert Steele & Co., Greenock. Her dimensions were 148'4"×26'0"×19'0" and tonnage: 576 NRT. Her forecastle was 14 ft long and the poop 46 ft.

Launched at the shipyard of Robert Steele & Co., Greenock, for Captain Alexander Rodger & C. Carnie., Glasgow. Assigned the Official British No. 3271 and signal HSPB. Employed in the China tea trade.
