A four-masted steel barque built in 1902 by Chantiers de France, Dunkerque. Dimensions 95,55×13,73×7,33 meters [313'6"×45'1"×24'1"] and tonnage 3204 GRT and 2462 NRT. Rigged with double top- and topgallant sails.
