Atlantique

A four-masted steel barque built in 1897 by Ateliers et chantiers de la Loire, Nantes. Dimensions 97,89×13,73×7,74 meters [321'2"×45'1"×25'5"] and tonnage 3094 GRT and 2453 NRT. Rigged with royal sails over double top- and topgallant sails.

1897 April 4: Launched at the shipyard of Ateliers et chantiers de la Loire, Nantes, for Ant. Dom. Bordes et fils, Dunkerque. Captain L. Gosin.
1904: Grounded at the Zuiderlaaks Banks, near Nieuwdiep, on voyage from Iquique to Hamburg with nitrate. Part of the cargo had to be unloaded before she was refloated.
1905: Sailed from Port Talbot to Iquique in 67 days.
1921-1924: Laid up.
1925 March 14: Arrived at Port Pirie via Adelaide.
1925 April 14: Sailed from Port Pirie to Falmouth where she arrived in August.
1925 August: Laid up.
1926: Broken up
