A four-masted iron ship built in 1879 by Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow.
Dimensions 85,64×12,29×7,33 meters
[281'0"×40'4"×24'1"] and tonnage 1943 GRT and 1865 NRT.
Rigged with royal sails above double top- and single topgallant sails.
Sister ship to the same owner's fourmasted ships County of Selkirk of 1878 and County of Haddington also of 1878.
- 1879 March
- Launched at the shipyard of Barclay, Curle & Co.,
Glasgow, for R.J. Craig, Glasgow. The first master was Captain Drummond.
Originally used in the jute trade.
- 1884 December 21
- Left Cardiff for Bombay. Declared wrecked
after having disappeared.
