Dunkerque
A four-masted steel barque built in 1889 by Russell & Co., Port Glasgow.
Dimensions: 100,47×14,07×6,53 meters [329'8"×46'2"×24'9"] and tonnage: 3152 GRT and 3094 NRT.
Rigged with royal sails above double top and topgallant sails.

- Launched at the shipyard of Russell & Co., Port Glasgow, for
Ant. Dom. Bordes et fils, Dunkerque. Captain Moizan.
- 1891 June 23
- Left Cardiff for Rio de Janeiro with a cargo with
coal. Some time later one of the ship's boats was found at the entrance to the
English Channel. It is believed that a spontaneous coal explosion caused the
sinking of the ship.
