A four-masted steel barque built in 1890 by Russell & Co., Port Glasgow. Dimensions: 85,03×12,71×7,36 meters [279'0"×41'9"×24'2"] and tonnage: 2288 GRT and 2188 NRT.

Rigged with double top and topgallant sails.

Launched at the shipyard of Russell & Co., Port Glasgow, for A. Weir & Co., Glasgow.
1894 January 10
Stranded on the Isle of Arran after the cable had parted while under two from Le Havre to Greenock.
