Falls of Foyers

A full-rigged four-masted iron ship built in 1883 by Russel & Co., Port Glasgow. Her dimensions are: 83,53×12,51×7,33 meters [274'1×41'1×24'1] and tonnage: 2009 GRT and 1974 NRT. Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails. The jiggermast was rigged with single top and topgallant sails.

1883 April
Launched at the shipyard of Russel & Co., Port Glasgow, for the Falls Line (Wright, Beakenridge & Co), Glasgow. The ship was mainly employed in the Indian jute trade. Captain Neilson.
1885-1890
Captain F.C. Wilson.
1893
Sold to Wright, Graham & Co., Glasgow.
1899
Wrecked at Heligoland on voyage from Junin to Hamburg.
