Fort George

A four-masted iron ship built in 1884 by Workman, Clark & Co., Belfast. Dimensions: 79,24×12,19×7,03 meters [260'0"×40'0"×23'1"] and tonnage: 1756 GRT and 1686 NRT.

Rigged with royal sails over double top and single topgallant sails.

Launched at the shipyard of Workman, Clark & Co., Belfast, for Clark & Service. Captain J. Houston.
1897/98
Sold to Welch & Co., Honolulu.
1908
Sold to Matson Navigation Co., San Francisco.
c1908
Rebuilt as a fourmasted barque.
1909 July 7
Declared lost while on voyage from New York to Honolulu.
