General Roberts
A four-masted iron ship built in 1884 by Russell & Co., Greenock.
Dimensions: 83,73×12,24×7,36 meters [274'9"×40'2"×24'2"] and tonnage: 1997 GRT and 1914 NRT.
Rigged with royal sails over double top and single topgallant sails. It has been said that she was re-rigged as a barque when she was sold to Norway in 1905.
- 1884 July
- Launched at the shipyard of Russell & Co., Greenock, for L. Davies & Co., Liverpool. Captain S. Bailey.
- 1905 September
- Sold to A.F. Klaveness & Co., Sandefjord, Norway, and was renamed Hafrsfjord. Re-rigged as a four-masted barque. Captain J. Gulliksen.
- 1910
- Registered in Kristiania.
- 1918 April
- Sold to Vestfolds Rederi A/S (Emil Harstad & Joh. Pedersen), Holmestrand.
- 1922 March
- Sold to A/S Rudolf (Olsen & Ugelstad), Kristiania.
- 1925 April
- Broken up in Copenhagen.
