Glenfinlas

A four-masted iron ship built in 1882 by Sunderland Shipbuilding Co., Sunderland. Dimensions: 85,51×12,71×7,51 meters [280'7"×41'9"×24'8"] and tonnage: 2228 GRT and 2148 NRT.

Rigged with royal sails over double top and single topgallant sails. Later re-rigged as fourmast barque.

Launched at the shipyard of Sunderland Shipbuilding Co., Sunderland, for L.H. McIntyre, Liverpool. Captain D. Grey.
1883 March 17
Sailed from Sunderland to Dundee.
1892
Sold to C.T. Bowring & Co., Liverpool.
1897 October
Foundered at sea on voyage from Newcastle, NSW, to Tocopilla with a cargo of coal.
