Grenada

A four-masted steel barque built in 1894 by Russell & Co., Glasgow, at a total cost of £ 18.000. Dimensions: 84,83×12,80×7,33 meters [278'4×42'0×24'1] and tonnage: 2268 GRT and 2106 NRT.

Rigged in Jubile fashion, i.e. rigged with nothing above double top and topgallant sails.

1894 November: Launched at the shipyard of Russell & Co., Glasgow, for P. Denniston & Co., Glasgow.
1899: A half share was sold to Lang & Fulton, Greenock, and was placed in ownership of the Eastern Shipping Co.
1910: Sold to Roberts, Owen & Co., Glasgow.
1912: Sailed in ballast from the English Channel to Newcastle, NSW, in 86 days.
1912: Sailed from Newcastle, NSW, to Valparaiso in 36 days.
1916 November 22: Sunk by a German submarine 32 miles SW of Beachy Head on voyage from Le Havre to New York.
