Laurelbank

A four-masted steel barque built in 1893 by Russell & Co., Port Glasgow. Dimensions: 86,25×13,10×7,41 meters [283'0"×43'0"×24'4"] and tonnage: 2397 GRT and 2237 NRT.

Rigged in jubilee fashion i.e. over double top and topgallant sails.

1893 September: Launched at the shipyard of Russell & Co., Port Glasgow, for A. Weir & Co., Glasgow. Captain W.H. Lindsay.
1893: Sailed from Barry Docks to Rio de Janeiro.
1898 October 31: Left Shanghai for Portland, OR, and disappeared en route.
