Loch Moidart

A four-masted iron ship built in 1881 by Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow. Dimensions: 87,57×12,95×7,31 meters [287'4"×42'6"×24'0"] and tonnage 2081 GRT and 2000 NRT. Rigged with royal sails over double top and single topgallant sails. Sistership to the same owner's fourmast barque Loch Torridon (1881).

Launched at the shipyard of Barclay, Curle & Co., Glasgow, for Aitken, Lilburn & Co., Glasgow. Captain Reid.
1890 January 26
Stranded at Callantsoog, The Netherlands, and capsized. On voyage from Pisagua to Hamburg with a nitrate cargo.
