A four-masted steel barque built in 1892 by W. Doxford & Sons, Sunderland. Dimensions: 95,31×14,04×7,82 meters [312'9"×46'1"×25'8"] and tonnage: 3046 GRT and 2851 NRT.

Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails.

Launched at the shipyard of W. Doxford & Sons, Sunderland, for J. Joyce & Co., Liverpool. Captain J.C. Dodd.
1899
Sailed from New York to Shanghai in 127 days under command of Captain S. Forrest.
1899 August 22-
Sailed from Shanghai to Pudget Sound in 23 days.
1900 September
Foundered on voyage from New York to Yokohama.
