Matterhorn
A four-masted iron barque built in 1882 by Russell & Co., Greenock.
Dimensions: 81,19×12,24×7,21 meters [266'5"×40'2"×23'8"] and tonnage: 1918 GRT and 1839 NRT.
Rigged with royal sails over double top and single topgallant sails.

- Launched at the shipyard of Russell & Co., Greenock, for J.R de Wolff, Liverpool. Captain J.F. Irish.
- 1909 April 27
- The grain cargo shifted and ship foundered som 70 miles off the Umatilla Reef on voyage from Portland, OR, to Ipswich.
