Pisagua

A four-masted steel barque built in 1892 by Joh. C. Tecklenborg, Geestemünde. Dimensions 95,70×13,58×7,94 meters [314'8"×44'7"×26'1"] and tonnage 2906 GRT and 2763 NRT. Rigged with royal sails over double top and top-gallant sails.

Sistership to the same owner's Placilla.

In collision with the Peninsular & Oriental Steamship Co. steamer Oceana at Beachy Head and had to be towed into Dover for repairs.

Sold to A/S Ørnen (Søren L. Christensen), Sandefjord, Norway, and was rebuilt to a floating whale factory. Captain Larsen became the new master.
1913 February 12
Stranded at Low Island, South Shetland Islands, on voyage from Leith to Deception Island for whale catching.
