A four-masted iron barque built in 1886 by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg. Dimensions: 88,56×12,97×7,23 meters [290'7"×42'7"×23'9"] and tonnage 2129 GRT and 2052 NRT. Rigged with royal sails above double top and single topgallant sails.

Launched at the shipyard of Blohm & Voss, Hamburg, for B. Wencke Söhne, Hamburg. Captain V.B. Diedrichsen.
1906
Sold to Rhederei AG von 1896, Hamburg. Captain O.A. Schellhass.
1907 March 10
Stranded at Insel Bayley, Wollaston Group, Cape Horn, on voyage from Pisagua to Falmouth.
