Primrose Hill

A four-masted iron barque built in 1886 by T. Royden & Co., Liverpool. Dimensions: 91,89×12,82×7,48 meters [301'6"×42'1"×24'7"] and tonnage 2520 GRT and 2436 NRT. Rigged with skysails and royal sails over double top and topgallant sails.

Launched at the shipyard of T. Royden & Co., Liverpool, for W. Price & Co., Liverpool. Captain G. Anderson.
1900 December 24
Left Liverpool for Australia[Furrer]/Vancouver[Hurst] under tow. When the wind increased the tug had to release the Primrose Hill which drifted on to Holyhead, Penrhyn Mawr, and was wrecked. Only one man of the crew survived.
