A four-masted steel barque built in 1891 by W. Doxford & Sons, Sunderland.
Her dimensions were: 89,61×13,10×7,31 meters [294'0"×43'0"×24'0"], and tonnage: 2540 GRT and 2399 NRT.
Sistership to the same owner's four-masted barques Nation and Dominion.

1891 October 7
Launched at the shipyard of W. Doxford & Sons, Sunderland, for William Thomas & Co., Liverpool.
1896 April 19
Abandoned at 34°N, 127°W when the cargo of coal caught fire on voyage Newcastle, NSW, to San Francisco, CA, under Captain J. Owen.
