Sokoto

A four-masted iron barque built in 1887 by Russell & Co, Port Glasgow. Dimensions 84,85×12,71×7,43 meters [278'5"×41'9"×24'5"] and tonnage 2262 GRT and 2193 NRT. Rigged with royal sails over double topgallant sails.

Launched at the shipyard of Russell & Co., for G.M. Steeves, Liverpool.
1910
Sold to L. Lydersen, Tvedestrand, Norway. Captain N.B. Lydersen.
1916
Sold to O.J. Eskildsen, Copenhagen. Captain C.M. Poulsen.
1917 April 25
Sunk by a German submarine in the Atlantic.
