Calistoga

An iron full-rigged ship built in 1884 by T. Royden & Sons, Liverpool. Dimensions: 268'1"×42'1"×24'0" and tonnage: 1913 GRT, 1855 NRT and 1773 tons under deck. Rigegd with royals, over single top-gallant and double top-sails.

Launched at the shipyard of T. Royden & Sons, Liverpool, for W. Nevins, Liverpool. Assigned the official British Reg. No. 87955 and signal JHRF. Captain T. Manson was given command of the ship.

Sold to Sierra Shipping Co., Liverpool, and was renamed Sierra Cadena.

Sold to A/S Prince George (Alfred Andresen), Kristiania, and was renamed Prince George. Captain Harald E. Hansen.

Sold to New Zealand Whaling Co. (Chr. Nielsen & Co.), Larvik. Captain J.H. Jensen.
