An iron fullrigged ship built in 1887 by W.B. Thompson & Co., Dundee. Dimensions 257'6"×38'2"×23'2" and 1647 GRT and 1562 NRT.

Launched at the shipyard of W.B. Thompson & Co., Dundee, for King Shipping Co. (J.A. Walker), Glasgow. Assigned the official British Reg. No. 95007 and signal KNLP.
