A wooden fullrigged ship built in 1865 by Smith, Aberdeen. Dimensions 177'0"×30'6"×18'4" and 770 GRT, 770 NRT and 620 tons under deck.

1865 April: Launched at the shipyard of Smith, Aberdeen, for Devitt & Moore, London. Assigned the official British Reg. No. 52717 and signal HCUP. Employed in the South Australian trade.
1865-1874: In command of Captain William Orchard.
1875-1876: In command of Captain L.W.E. Bowen late of the same owner's ship City of Adelaide.
1876-1878: In command of Captain William Orchard.
1879-1880: In command of Captain B.G. Panton.
1880: Sold to Norwegian owners.
