Launched at the shipyard of Smith, Aberdeen, for Devitt & Moore, London. Assigned the official British Reg. No. 52717 and signal HCUP. Employed in the South Australian trade.

In command of Captain William Orchard.

In command of Captain L.W.E. Bowen late of the same owner's ship City of Adelaide.

Sold to Norwegian owners.
