An iron barque built in 1885 by Blohm & Voss, Hamburg, as Yard No. 46. Dimensions 69,06×10,98×6,29 meters [226'6"×36'0"×20'6"] and tonnage 1256 GRT, 1230 NRT and 1123 tons under deck.

1885 October 30: Launched at the shipyard of Blohm & Vos, Hamburg, for F. Laeisz, Hamburg. Assigned the German signal RGVL.
1885-1890: In command of Captain C.J. Steincke.
1886: Sailed from the English Channel to Valparaiso in 61 days.
1891-1895: In command of Captain F. Kähler.
1899-1902: In command of Captain W. Schröder.
1903-1906: In command of Captain P. Pettersen.
1907-1908: In command of Captain H. Pötcher.
1908 March 13: Sold to Henr. Hansen, Lillesand, Norway.
1905: Sold to Aktieselskabet "Spes" (Lauritz Schübeler), Fredrikstad.
1925: Sold to Hugo Lundqvist, Mariehamn. The Finnish measurements were 70,99×10,80×6,22 meters [226'6"×36'×20'6"] and tonnage 1254 GRT, 1174 NRT and 1800 DWT
1933 December 13: Wrecked at Kobba Klintar. Of the crew of 17 men, four were saved.
