Wairoa

An iron fullrigged ship built in 1875 by Palmers Co., Newcastle. Dimensions 204'1"×34'2"×20'0" and 1057 GRT, 1015 NRT.

1875: Launched at the shipyard of Palmers Co., Newcastle, for New Zealand Shipping Co., London.
1897: Sold to C. Zernicom & CO. Gotaas, Kristiania, and was renamed Winnipeg. Reduced to barque rig.
1903: Sold to J.K. Ahlsten, Nystad, Finland. Captain Emil S. Erholm.
1907: December 1 Never heard of again on voyage from Pensacola to Buenos Ayres.
