Walden Abbey
An iron fullrigged ship built in 1881 by W.H. Potter & Son, Liverpool.
Dimensions 263'0"×39'1"× and tonnage 1799 GRT, 1754 NRT and 1676 tons under deck.
The forecastle was 22 ft long and the poop 37 ft.
Sister ship to Ismay Imrie & Co.'s Copley (1881).
Rigged with main and fore royals over double top and topgallant sails.

Assigned the Official British Reg. No. 84187 and signal WFNV.

- Sold to A/S v. V. Müller, København, and was renamed Svanen. Danish tonnage was 1797 GRT and 1702 NRT.
- 1917 April 23
- Sunk by a German submarine 30 miles WNW of Muckle Flugga on voyage from Baltimore to Aarhus with a cargo of 12.555 tons of maize. Two men of the crew lost their lifes at the sinking.
