Five-masted schooners with aux. machinery

Most of these five-masted schooners got a very short life and the majority of the schooners ordered by the French Government were laid up after the war.

The Vinnen Schooners

The five "Vinnen" were built by Krupp for Vinnen, Bremen, in 1921-1922. They were rigged with square top- and topgallant sails on the fore and mizzen masts.
