Folks around Chesapeake Bay may want to take in the 12th Mid-Atlantic Small Craft Festival to be held at the C-Bay Maritime Museum in St. Michaels from 30 Sept-2 October. The event is really for the dedicated band of fanatics who turn up with small, typically wood boats, which are typicall sail or human powered, and to be a participant you have to register with the Museum (USD 48 a head for non-members), but in past years day visitors to the museum have been able to take a good look at the boats, on and off the water. Traditional boats, Bolger/Redmond/Devlin/Culler boats, Pelicans, Dovkies, etc. turn out.
