Andromeda

A four-masted steel barque built in 1890 by R. Duncan & Co., Port Glasgow. Dimensions 82,67×12,91×7,16 meters [271'3"×40'0"×23'6"] and tonnage 1928 GRT and 1822 NRT. Rigged with royal sails over double top- and single topgallant sails.

Launched at the shipyard of R. Duncan & Co., for G.F. Smith, Glasgow. Captain F.G. Andrews.

Sold to Black, Moore & Co., London. Captain J. Fulton.
1915 February 12
Stranded at Porthcatho, Cornwall, on voyage from Tacoma with a cargo of wheat.
