Earl of Shaftesbury
A four-masted iron ship built in 1883 by Ramage & Ferguson, Leith.
Dimensions: 85,49×12,82×7,31 meters [280'6"×42'1"×24'0"] and tonnage: 2079 GRT and 2005 NRT.

- Launched at the shipyard of Ramage & Ferguson, Leith, for D. Brown & Sons, London. Used in the Indian jute trade. Captain R. Irvine.
- 1893 May
- Wrecked at Amtlangoda on Voyage from Bombay to Diamond Island.
