Falls of Foyers

A full-rigged four-masted iron ship built in 1883 by Russel & Co., Port Glasgow. Her dimensions are: 83,53×12,51×7,33 meters [274'1×41'1×24'1] and tonnage: 2009 GRT and 1974 NRT. Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails. The jiggermast was rigged with single top and topgallant sails.

1883 April: Launched at the shipyard of Russel & Co., Port Glasgow, for the Falls Line (Wright, Beakenridge & Co), Glasgow. The ship was mainly employed in the Indian jute trade. Captain Neilson.
1885-1890: Captain F.C. Wilson.
1893: Sold to Wright, Graham & Co., Glasgow.
1899: Wrecked at Heligoland on voyage from Junin to Hamburg.
