Honresfeld

A four-masted steel barque built in 1891 by W. Doxford & Sons, Sunderland. Dimensions: 95,31×14,04×7,82 meters [312'9"×46'1"×25'8"] and tonnage: 3045 GRT and 2873 NRT.

Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails.

1891 May
Launched at the shipyard of W. Doxford & Sons, Sunderland, for J. Joyce, Liverpool. Captain C. Guthrie was put in command of the ship.
1892 December 20
On voyage from Liverpool to San Francisco the ship had to be abandoned in the Pacific at 8°20'N, 116°20'W after the cargo had caught fire.
1895 December 28
A whaleship reported the drifting wreck at 9°N, 175°W.
