A four-masted steel barque built in 1901 by Ateliers et chantiers de la Loire, Nantes. Dimensions: 89,81×13,12×6,87 meters [294'8"×43'1"×22'7"] and tonnage: 2755 GRT and 2208 NRT.

Rigged with royal sails over double top and single topgallant sails.

Launched at the shipyard of Ateliers et chantiers de la Loire, Nantes, for Société Marseillaise de Voilers, Marseille. Captain Cousinet.
1908 September 6
Left Tchio, New Caledonia, for Glasgow and disappeared on the way.
