Muncaster Castle
A four-masted iron ship built in 1882 by W.H. Potter & Son, Liverpool.
Dimensions: 91,44×x11,93×7,16 meters [300'0"×39'2"×23'6"] and tonnage 2104 GRT and 2037
NRT.
Rigged with sky and royal sails over double top and single topgallant sails.

- Launched at the shipyard of W.H. Potter & Son, Liverpool, for Lancaster Shipowners' Co., Liverpool.
To be used in the India jute trade. Captain W. Valentine.

- Sold to J. Chambers & Co., Liverpool.
- 1898
- Sold to A. Gibson & Co., Liverpool.
- 1901 May 20
- Wrecked on Staten Island on voyage from Port Talbot
to Iquique.
