Fullrigged ship built of wood by I.F. Chapman & Co., Bath, ME, USA. Dimensions 258'2"×44'7"×28'5" and tonnage: 2461 GRT and 2341 NRT.

1884 November: Launched at the shipyard of I.F. Chapman & Co. for I.F. Chapman & Co. The first master was Capt. D.H. Rivers.
1887 November: Sailed from Yokohama to Tacoma with tea in 24 days at an average of 191 miles per day.
1888 July: Was partially dismasted outside New York.
1905 August: Was towed into Kobe after having been dismasted in a typhoon. Sailed back to New York after having been jury rigged.
1906: Converted into a barge by the Lukenbach Transportation and Wrecking Co., New York.
1913 December 26: Lost together with her crew of three men.
