Cap Nord
Five-masted wooden schooner built in 1918 by W. Lyall Shipbuilding
Company, North Vancouver, BC. Dimensions: 74,01×13,54×5,71 meters and
tonnage: 1471 GRT, and 1178 NRT. Equipped with a 250 hp engine.

- Launched at the shipyard of W. Lyall Shipbuilding
Company, North Vancouver, BC, for Soc. d'Armem. van Hemelryk & Cie.
- 1921
- Was returned to W. Lyall SB Co Ltd, North Vancouver, BC.
- 1922
- Sold to H.J. Petersen, Copenhagen.
- 1924 April 7
- Sold to Rederiet Ærø A/S (Hans
Petersen), Copenhagen.
- 1929
- Equipped with two new Lysekil Skandia 2S2C 600 hp
engines.
- 1933 June 14
- Sold to Kiel and laid up.
- 1934 October
- Sold to Liga Morska, Kolonjalna, Gdynia, and
renamed Elemka. Converted to a sail-training vessel.
- 1938 August
- Sold to S.M. Riis, Washington, DC, and renamed
Andromeda. The intention was to use the ship for scientific expeditions but was laid up in Königsberg instead.
- 1939 February 8
- Sold by auction for German RM 30.000 to
Reichsverkehrsgruppe Seeschiffahrt, Hamburg.
- 1939 July
- Rebuilt as a stationary schoolship and renamed
Kapitän Hilgendorf.
- 1942
- Taken over by the Kriegsmarine to be used as a
stationary navigation training ship moored at Hamburg-Waltershof. Later moved
to Glückstadt.
- 1946 November 18
- Taken out of the register as a seagoing
vessel. Sold to Hamburg-Südamerikanische Dampfschiffahrtsgesellschaft,
Hamburg. Converted at Wewelsfleth to a lighter and renamed Cornelia.
- 1951
- Broken up.
