Formosa
An iron full-rigged ship built in 1883 by Russell & Co., Port Glasgow.
Dimensions 78,20×11,62×6,92 meters
[256'4"×38'1"×22'7"] and 1651 GRT, 1555 NRT and 1499 tons under
deck.
Rigged with royals over double top and topgallant sails.
Later reduced to barque rig.

- Launched at the shipyard of Russell & Co., Port Glasgow, for the "Island Line" of P. Denniston & Co., Glasgow.
Assigned the official British Reg. No. 87700 and signal HWDQ.

- Sold to P. Jacobsen, Porsgrund, Norway. Captain C. Ellesfsen.

- Captain E. Eriksen.
- 1915 November
- Stranded at St Davids on voyage to Mersey with a cargo of timber. A note in Lloyd's Register states that she was later refloated.
c1925 Hulked at Gibraltar [Lubbock]
- 1956
- Reported to be used for jet fuel storage at Gibraltar.
