Guy Mannering

A three-masted iron barque built in 1878 by McMillan & Son, Dumbarton. Dimensions __,__×__,__×_,__ meters [194'8"×32'1"×18'4"], tonnage 838 GRT, 807 NRT and 749 tons under deck. Her forecastle was 25 feet long and the poop 37 feet.

1878 February: Launched at the shipyard of McMillan & Son, Dumbarton. Assigned the official British Reg. No. 78510 and signal RGHV.
1879: Owner: J. Hunter, Glasgow. Master: Captain J. Jopp.
(1892): Owner: J. Dickie, Glasgow.
1892 December 16: Wrecked on Staten Island on voyage from Shields to Callao with a cargo of coke, cement, etc.
