- 1848 May
- Launched at the shipyard of Donald McKay, East Boston, for Messrs. Fairbanks & Wheeler, Boston and employed in the cotton trade. Captain Bragdon was put in command.
- 1849 February 18
- Stranded at Choasset, MA, on voyage from Apalachicola with 1885 bales of cotton. Re-floated with little damage after most of the cargo
had been discharged.
Later under command of Captain Lauchlan McKay.
