A full-rigged ship built in 1848 by Donald McKay, East Boston. Dimensions ___×___×__ and tonnage 532 tons.
1848 May
Launched at the shipyard of Donald McKay, East Boston, for Messrs. Fairbanks & Wheeler, Boston and employed in the cotton trade. Captain Bragdon was put in command.
1849 February 18
Stranded at Choasset, MA, on voyage from Apalachicola with 1885 bales of cotton. Re-floated with little damage after most of the cargo had been discharged.
Later under command of Captain Lauchlan McKay.
