Khersones

A steel fullrigged ship built in 1988 by Stocznia Gdanska in Gdansk (Danzig), Poland, to the design of Zygmunt Choren. Dimensions: 109,4×14,0×__ meters and tonnage: ___ GRT, ___ NRT and 2946 tons displacement. Equipped with a 480 hp aux. diesel engine. A sistership to the Dar Mlodziezy (1982) and Mir (1988).

1988: Launched at the shipyard of Stocznia Gdanska in Gdansk, for Kherch Marine Technological Institute, Kherch, Ukraine. Employed as a sail-training ship.
