Morning Star
A wooden full-rigged clipper ship built in 1853 by J.T. Foster, Medford, MA.
Dimensions: 187'0"×36'2"×23'8" and tonnage: 1066 GRT, 1066 NRT and 1002 tons under deck.

- Launched at the shipyard of J.T. Foster, Medford, MA, for T.B. Waters & Co., Boston, MA.
- 1856
- A mutiny broke out while loading nitrate at Callao for Le Havre. An armed party from HMS Monarch quelled the mutiny.
- 1863
- Sold to T.W. Mackay & Co., London, for £ 6500, and was renamed Landsborough. Assigned the official British Reg. No. 47500 and signal VNTM. The British measurements were 185'×37'×23'8" and 1066 RT.
