Star of Denmark

An iron full-rigged ship built in 1863 by Harland & Wolff, Belfast, as Yard No. 20. Dimensions 65,03×9,79×6,62 meters [213'2"×32'1"×21'7"] and tonnage 998 GRT, 998 NRT and 971 tons under deck.

1863 June 19: Launched at the shipyard of Harland & Wolff, Belfast, for J.P. Corry & Co., Belfast. Assigned the official British Reg. No. 47182 and signal VMNJ. Employed in the Indian jute trade.
1877: Sailed from London to Calcutta in 96 days under Captain Willis.
1887: Captain T.M. Williams.
1889 November: Sold to F.M. Tucker.
