- Launched at the shipyard of Harland & Wolff, Belfast, for J.P. Corry & Co., Belfast.
Assigned the official British Reg. No. 47190 and signal VMNW. Employed in the Indian jute trade.

- Sailed from London to Calcutta in 90 days under command of Captain E. Hughes.
- 1887 June 27
- Wrecked on Bull Point, Falkland Islands. Seven hands of the crew drowned.
