Wasdale
A steel full-rigged ship built in 1881 by Whitehaven Shipbuilding Co., Whitehaven.
Dimensions: 262'3"×39'3"×24'1" and tonnage 1879 GRT, 1821 NRT and 1742 tons under deck.

- Launched at the shipyard of Whitehaven Shipbuilding Co., Whitehaven, for The Dale Line of J.D. Newton. Assigned the official British Registration No. 84165 and signal WFBC.

- Owner: W. Kelly, Liverpool.

- Captain R. Campbell replaced Captain W. Browne as master of the ship.

- Sold to Trinder, Andersen & Co. 1856 GRT and 1742 NRT.
- 1906/7
- Sold by to A/S Wasdale (N.A. Lydersen), Tvedestrand, Norway.
- 1917 January 13
- Sailed from Fayal for Dublin.
- 1917 February 3
- Sunk by a German submarine. The crew was saved by the Dutch steamer Samarinda.
