Sailing Warships: HMS Norrköping.
A Swedish wooden frigate built in 1858 at Carlskrona Stations Varf.
Dimensions 45,52[loa]×11,92×5,5 meters, displacement 1439 tons.

- Launched at the Carlskrona Stations Varf.
- 1865-1866
- Reduced to a corvette during the winter. Armament: 4 × 20,2 cm guns; 18 × 30 pound guns.
- 1876
- Armament: 2 × 16,7 cm guns M/81; 4 × 12,2 cm guns M/73; 12 × 30 pound guns.
- 1886
- Armament: 8 × 12,2 cm guns M/81; 10 × 30 pound guns; 2 × 67 mm guns M/63 and four machine guns.
- 1902 May 2
- Decided to used as an accomodation ship for the boys . . .
- 1907
- Moved to Marstrand.
- 1935 September 1
- Replaced by the ex armoured ship Niord.
- 1936
- (Utrangerad).
Beached at Torekov and broken up.
The Norrköping replaced the corvette anmd ex frigate af Chapman as sail training ship for the naval cadets.
The attempt to preserve her as a museum ship had to be abandoned due to the poor condition of the hull.
