The clipper ship Flying Scud, Capt. Bearse, of R.W. Cameron's Pioneer Line of Australian Packets, from New-York, Sept. 29, for Melbourne, on the 6th of November, run 449 nautical miles in 24 hours. On the 24th of November, the ship was i latitude 45°47'S., longitude 32°6'E., and arrived Dec. 10, in longitude 139°E., running 6,420 nautical miles in 16 consecutive days, averaging 401 nautical miles per day. She crossed the Equator, 26th of October, longitude 32°41'W., and arrived at Melbourne, Dec. 18, after a passage of 75 days, being the best passage ever made from New-York. The Flying Scud was built by Messrs. Metcalf & Norris, at Damariscotta, Me. We shall give particulars in our next.
