A four-masted steel barque built in 1895 by R. Williamson & Son, Workington. Dimensions: 93,94×14,07×7,82 meters [308'3"×46'2"×25'8"] and tonnage: 2958 GRT and 2797 NRT.

Rigged with royal sails over double top and topgallant sails.

Sistership to the same owner's fourmast barque Centesima (1893).

1895 March: Launched at the shipyard of R. Williamson & Son, Workington, for their own account. Captain I. Webster.
1900 April 3: Stranded at Inzu, Japan, on voyage from New York to Yokohama.
